A Little About Me

I admit, I had a bit of a head start when it came to fashion…

My mum was a dressmaker, and some of my fondest childhood memories are of playing with her beautiful fabrics, trims and buttons. I think that’s where my love of fashion really began.

At just 13, I headed to TAFE to study pattern making, and by 17, I was studying fashion design at East Sydney Technical College.

After graduating, fashion took me to London, where I had the incredible opportunity to design for some of the world’s best-known fashion names, including H&M, Topshop, Urban Outfitters, Neiman Marcus and Revolve.

In 2003, I returned home to Australia and debuted my own label at Australian Fashion Week. Seeing my own collection on the runway was one of those pinch-me moments I’ll never forget.

And I’ve been designing on my own terms ever since.

Today, my passion is creating beautiful, timeless pieces with those little touches that make you feel special — but most importantly, designing for real women with real bodies.

I understand that our bodies aren’t all the same. We want clothes that flatter, feel comfortable, give us confidence and make getting dressed exciting again.

Every Natasha Gan piece is designed with that woman in mind.

Thank you for wearing my designs and allowing me to keep doing what I have loved since I was that little girl playing amongst my mum’s fabrics.

With love,
Natasha xx
